This addition to the study clone sale is a direct copy of the Pete Cornish SS-3 Overdrive/Distortion, which has been famously used by players like David Gilmour or Noel Gallagher of Oasis. The only difference to the original is slightly different op amps. The SS-3 uses TL071, while this clone uses TL081, but there is no sonic difference between them.
The circuit lets you dial in a lot of really nice and useful overdrive sounds and slightly touches fuzz territory at the highest gain setting. It also works really nice with the volume control of the guitar. Dialing it back a little can create a different sound.
