Next in line for the study clone sale is the Narcissus, which is a clone of the DOD Looking Glass Overdrive. My main reason to build this clone was to find out what some of my favorite players like so much about it. At some point I saw it on Michael Landau's pedalboard, so I got curious.
The main thing I would say is that it's really interactive with how hard or soft you play and what you're doing with the guitar's volume knob. Tonally speaking it goes from clean boost to almost distortion and the EQ section (especially the Filter knob) does a lot to make it work with different amps.
The only difference with the original is, that I used 2N7000 transistors for this build instead of BS170's which are in the original. I found them to have more drive range in direct comparison.
