And we're back live!

And we're back live!

Boy, it has been a crazy 15 months since I had to put this company on hold, due to personal reasons. For the most part, I wasn't able to handle my main job, building pedals, spending time with the family and trying to have some personal space for myself to balance all this. It was just too much!!!

There are things that apply to a small MI company like ours, which are not really visible to everyone on the outside. For starters, it's almost impossible to keep up with bigger companies in terms of new releases. You see some brands out there coming out with a new pedal virtually every month. That's because they do have a dedicated marketing team, R&D team, graphics designer etc. the list goes on. We, on the other hand, are just two people (1,5 to be precise) who need to do all of this, while maintaining a regular job as well. And sadly, it's the frequency of new releases that keep you in everyone's memory and conversation.

So at the end of 2023 I said: "Enough with this, it doesn't make any sense". I wasn't selling much and the effort was just taking so much of my available time. So I sold all I had at a discount to get my investments back, paid all my outstanding debts and took a break.

It was around autumn 2024 when I felt that I had the energy and the motivation for a restart, also because my son started to show interest in doing things with me. So we started building guitars at first, and I realise that I cannot give him a 400 degree hot soldering iron of course. But a lot of tasks are done as a team and it's a lot of fun.

The other thing that always bothered me was not being as independent as some of the other companies. You had to purchase enclosures there, have them drilled, powder coated and UV printed somewhere else, then they are shipped over etc. Sometimes, this whole process can take up to a month and in the meantime, I cannot fulfil orders, not to mention, getting new visual designs right how I wanted them is a long process.

But now I am at a point where I can do 90% of the process in my workshop, since I updated and purchased some additional machines.

So, this is a restart XXL! All pedals have been redesigned visually, I didn't need to raise pricing (in comparison to some other companies) and we're also making some exquisite guitars. More to come... :)
